UV Gullas College of Medicine – Syllabus (BS-MD Program)

The MBBS-equivalent program at UV Gullas College of Medicine follows the BS-MD format, as per the American medical education system. The course is structured to ensure a strong academic foundation during the Pre-Med (BS Biology) phase and hands-on clinical expertise during the Doctor of Medicine (MD) phase.

Our syllabus is aligned with the standards set by the National Medical Commission (NMC), India, and is tailored to prepare students for FMGE/NEXT, USMLE, and global medical licensure exams.

Pre-Medical (BS Biology) – 1.5 Years

This phase focuses on building the core knowledge base in basic sciences and preparing students for the NMAT (National Medical Admission Test), required to enter the MD program in the Philippines.
