Admission to
UV Gullas College of Medicine is
simple, transparent, and open to all Indian students who
meet the basic academic and regulatory criteria. The
college follows the guidelines set by the
National Medical Commission (NMC), India, and the
Philippine Commission on Higher Education
(CHED).
Basic Eligibility Criteria for Indian Students
To apply for the
BS-MD (MBBS equivalent) program at UV
Gullas College of Medicine, the student must:
Educational Qualification

Must have completed
10+2 or equivalent from a recognized
board.

Must have studied
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB)
as core subjects.

Must have scored
minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for
General category.

For SC/ST/OBC category:
Minimum 40% aggregate in PCB.
NEET Qualification (As per NMC rule)

Must have a valid NEET scorecard from
the year of admission or within the last 3 years.

NEET is mandatory to receive the
Eligibility Certificate from NMC
India to appear for NEXT/FMGE in the future.
Age Requirement
The student must be at least
17 years of age on or before
31st December of the year of admission.
Passport Requirement

A valid Indian passport is required
for visa processing.

Passport should have
minimum 1-year validity at the time
of application.
Additional Admission Requirements
Students will need to provide the following during the
application and visa process:
- Birth Certificate
- 10th and 12th Mark Sheets
- NEET Scorecard
- Passport (valid)
- Notarized NOC from Parents
- 6-month Bank Statement
- Medical Reports from NABH-accredited hospital
- Police Clearance Certificate (PPC)

NMAT Requirement for MD Admission

Indian students must appear for the
National Medical Admission Test (NMAT)
after completing the BS program.

NMAT is not a competitive exam for
foreign students at UV Gullas—only participation is
mandatory as per CHED regulation.
MCI/NMC Eligibility Certificate
-
The
Eligibility Certificate from NMC (formerly
MCI)
is required before joining the MD program.
